Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Candida McClairen of Little River ES!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Fourth-grade math and science teacher Candida McClairen, a 10-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Little River Elementary School!
“Throughout this school year, I have consistently been impressed by her teaching methods and the comprehensive resources she provides to both students and their families,” a student’s parent shared. “Thanks to Mrs. McClairen’s guidance my son has shown remarkable improvement. I have seen his confidence grow, and he takes immense pride in his work. It is a joy to witness his enthusiasm for learning, and I attribute much of this to the nurturing environment she creates in her classroom. Her dedication to her students and their families is truly commendable, and I am confident that she will continue to inspire and guide many more students in the future. ”
