Celebrating Our 2024 Teachers of the Year: Little River ES!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2024 Teacher of the Year each day!  Early Intervention reading and math teacher Stephanie Keenum, a 23-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Little River Elementary School!

“Her strong work ethic is admirable.  You can always count on her to listen and offer a helping hand when needed.  She is a true team player,” a colleague shared.  “Working as an Early Intervention teacher is a demanding position, which requires a deep knowledge base to address students’ weaknesses and language concerns.  Stephanie excels in this area.  She utilizes the students’ proficiency levels and their benchmark data to help students grow academically and develop comprehension and communication skills.  She has been a leader behind the scenes with her outstanding work ethic, incredible knowledge base, humble attitude and her commitment to providing students with the skills needed to succeed in all areas of life.”
