CCSD Schools Celebrate Veterans Day!
CCSD schools across the county showed their appreciation for military veterans in many ways-- including patriotic programs, breakfasts, parades, and special lessons. Little River Elementary School holds an annual parade around the parking lot and students make posters to honor family members with military service. Fourth grade teacher Candida McClairen, who served in the Air Force, led the parade this year with Principal Joni Adams, Superintendent Mary Elizabeth Davis and School Police Officer Beth Endicott.
